Lina Nangalia, a founder
director of Global Coach Trust, brings over 20 years of
experience in sales, systems, learning & development and HR
at leading companies like NIIT, TNT Express, Raymond Ltd.
She coaches heads of business and functions in the areas of
individual and team performance, managing relationships,
work-life balance issues, and career development. Her areas
of expertise and experience include leadership development,
performance management, enhancing employee engagement,
learning and development systems, and executive coaching.
Lina has over the last few years designed and executed
learning programs for diverse clients including Hewlett
Packard, Oracle, Digital, Intel, Motorola, Pagepoint,
Verifone, Blue Star Software, Customer Asset, Robert Bosch,
L&T Infotech, Sharp Software and more. Her repertoire of
programs include: Leadership, Performance Management,
Communication Skills, Time Management, Customer Service,
Client Relationship Management, Presentation Skills,
Interviewing skills etc.
She is an Economics graduate from St. Xavier’s College,
Bombay and has a Master’s in Training & Development from
Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. She has also
attended the international management program from INSEAD –
Europe’s premier business school and is a member of the
International Coach Federation (www.coachfederation.org).
She is currently pursuing her PhD in Organization Behavior
from XLRI, Jamshedpur. She is credentialed by the
International Coach Federation (ICF) as a PCC level coach.
She has traveled extensively to USA, UK, Europe, Dubai,
Egypt, Turkey, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and Australia.
Conferences/Papers Presented
In Dec 2009, she jointly presented a paper with
Dr Ajay Nangalia on ‘Adapting HR Practices to Cultural
Contexts: A Collective Case Study Approach to Understand
Executive Coaching in Asian Culture’ at the 8th Asian
Conference & 1st MENA Conference of the Academy of HR,
Bahrain.

In July 2009, she presented a paper on ‘Using
Positive Psychology as an HRM process in Employee Engagement
and Confidence Building’ at the International Conference on
Human Resource Management in Context of Global Meltdown –
ICFAI Business School, Ahmedabad. The paper was presented
with the Best Paper Award.
